SERVING VANCOUVER ISLAND SINCE 1992
Imperial Welding Ltd. was founded in 1992.
We originally started out as a structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication shop in Victoria, BC. In 1995 we relocated our operations to Chemainus, BC, where we project manage, fabricate, and sell retail steel. In 2012 we opened a second location in Courtenay, BC, were we fabricate and sell retail steel.
Since our humble beginnings in 1992 we have been a member of the Canadian Construction Association and are a certified CWB welding company.

Operations – Project Management/Fabrication
Our Chemainus location is a project management and admin office. From here we oversee all our large Structural Steel projects, which can range from small retail buildings to complex big box stores, government buildings, institutions, and educational structures.

Our Chemainus retail steel sales provides a variety of steel for a range of projects or materials for customers who want to do it themselves.

Fabrication + Steel Sales
Imperial Welding in Courtenay specializes in structural steel and custom metal fabrication. We also offer material sales, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
